Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update dental charts for children 0 - 13 years old
  • Provide preventive services including prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and age-appropriate oral hygiene instruction.
  • Utilize child-friendly communication and behavior guidance techniques to create a comfortable, positive experience.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on home care, nutrition, and preventive strategies to support long-term oral health.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records.
  • Partner closely with doctors and assistants to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

  • A valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in North Dakota is required.

Dental Hygienist - Grand Forks, ND

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal Hygienist candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality routine Hygiene care.

Duties Include

  • Provide routine hygiene care for patients
  • Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic Dental x-rays
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits
  • Document patient care accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality
  • Utilize Dental software for patient record management, scheduling, and billing processes
  • Apply knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with both patients and team members
  • Assist with dental charting for insurance purposes as required       

Skills

  • Proficient in infection control practices and adherence to safety protocols
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures is preferred
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is required

Must be a Licensed Dental Hygienist in North Dakota for Hygiene position. Must live in/near Grand Forks, North Dakota. 

Position Details

Pay: $40,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week, Schedule: 8 hour shift
