What You'll Do
- Rally alongside our dentist in transforming our mobile unit into a full-fledged dental office on wheels—each setup is a mini adventure!
- Provide friendly chair-side support: pass instruments, suction, and prep materials like a dental ninja.
- Keep everything sparkling: sterilize tools, stock supplies, and ensure infection control protocols shine.
- Capture smiles in X-rays and update clinical charts in our system—accuracy + compassion = success.
- Educate patients of all ages—kids, parents, grandparents, guardians—on oral hygiene tips that stick.
Who You Are
- Graduated from an accredited dental assistant program—or have hands-on experience.
- Certified in CPR; state radiology license or RDA creds? Bonus points!
- A people-person with excellent communication skills—great with kiddos!
- Organized, detail-focused, and comfortable using digital records and inventory systems.
- Physically ready for an active day—you’ll be prepping rooms.
- Flexible and adaptable—no day is the same when your "office" changes zip codes!

Dental Assistant - Grand Forks, ND
***Possible sign on bonus for the right candidate. *** We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, and assist the doctor as a chair-side assistant.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during procedures, and by preparing instruments and materials as needed.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic Dental x-rays.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.
- Utilize Dental software for patient record management, scheduling, and billing processes.
- Apply knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with both patients and team members.
- Assist with dental charting for insurance purposes as required. Perform child prophies as needed
Skills
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures is preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is required. - Proficient in infection control practices and adherence to safety protocols.
*Registered Dental Assistant license is preferred, but not required

Dental Assistant - Bismarck, ND
Dr. Dohm & Dr. Skytland of Dakota Periodontics are looking for a friendly, energetic dental assistant who is willing to work towards becoming a certified dental assistant for a fast-paced periodontal office. We are willing to train the right candidate for this position. Job duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the doctors with periodontal procedures. Job requires excellent charting and documentation skills with computer-PERIOVISION-software, working directly and independently with the patients of all ages and work well with the entire staff.
