Orthodontic ​Clinical Assistant - Bismarck

We are seeking a part-time Orthodontic Clinical Assistant to join our fast-paced practice and team. The Orthodontic Clinical Assistant carries out treatment plan procedures with the doctor on all Invisalign and braces Patients. Procedures include routine inserts, wire adjustments, bondings, bandings, removals, and 3D digital scanning, to name a few.  The Clinical Assistant is also focused on Patient engagement, experience, and communicates with the appropriate written or verbal correspondences. Qualified candidates should have previous dental/orthodontic field experience or other service-oriented experience, great organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a positive, upbeat attitude. This position also requires cross-training and is expected to respond to the needs and demands of each day and each moment, filling in where needed to ensure prompt, friendly, and exceptional Patient care. Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary: To be the main check in/greeter person in the practice. This person also is the main contact to take new patient phone calls, coordinate the new patient appointment and perform the new patient interview with patients. Additional responsibilities are to maintain the hygiene schedule flow including scheduling all hygiene patients when appropriate, following up on all overdue hygiene patients and maintaining trackers for hygiene, SRP patients and new patients to report on and identify trends in the practice. The patient care coordinator is the first person designated to answer the phone and is the person designated to retrieve messages from the recorder or answering service in preparation for the AM huddle.
